Petra Brazkiewicz was born in 1966 in Lübeck. In 1985 she became a medical - technical assistant at the medical university in Lübeck ( MUzL). In 1994 she finished her training as physiotherapist and worked also at the Lübecker University, as well as in a free surgery for physiotherapy.
Since that time she started with Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong. She was able to link the Chinese skill of movement with her knowledge of neurology with further training ( Propriozeptive Neuromuskuläre Facilität - PNF ) to appreciate and deepen this ancient skill of movement.
Dissatisfied with the limited physical therapy standard treatment, she learned the Cranio - Sacral- Therapy and visceral osteopathy from noted international lecturers such as Donald Howitt and Maat Piepers.
In 1999 Mrs. Brazkiewicz started 3 years of training in Tuina (Chinese manual therapy).
At the end of 2002 she started treating with Tuina in her husbands surgery. The positive effects were stunning. Mrs. Brazkiewicz is adapting her knowledge in Cranio - Sacral - Therapy, visceral osteopathy and Tuia individually to every patient. Notable synergies arise, also with acupuncture, so that difficult diseases like chronic shoulder ache or backache can be treated.
Also children benefit considerably from the combination of old knowledge and mild methods of treatment. A personal joy for her, as a enthusiastic cook, is Chinese dietetics.
From 2004 to 2005 Mrs. Brazkiewicz completed training as an alternative practitioner successfully in order to deepen her conventional medicine and naturophatic knowledge. According to the articles of association of the doctors and alternative practitioner, which says that these both are not allowed to work together, she did not apply for licence to practise.
